Andrew Youhas is the firm's founder and managing principal. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Richmond in 1996. After two years at a local CPA firm in Winchester, Virginia, he returned to school and earned law and business degrees from the College of William and Mary, with an emphasis on taxation and trusts and estates.
Andrew later joined and became a principal at a regional accounting firm in Falls Church, Virginia, where he served as the head of the firm's 1040 Department and later as chair of the firm's Fiduciary Department. In 2017, Andrew founded Youhas & Associates, LLC.
Andrew's 20-plus years of experience and his qualifications enable him to serve clients in a wide variety of areas, including tax compliance and planning for fiduciary, individual, and business clients. He serves as a tax advisor to private foundations and split-interest trusts, and he consults on estate planning and administration, business startup planning, and retirement planning. Andrew's clients will tell you that he enjoys his work very much, and that he's uniquely able to explain complicated tax concepts and calculations in an easy to understand manner. This is one of the reasons he has been recognized as one of DC's Best Financial Advisors by Washingtonian Magazine and Northern Virginia Magazine. He is also a past president of the Northern Chapter of the Virginia Society of CPAs.
